Representatives of the 20th Separate Special Purpose Battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine took part in the celebration of the Day of the Restoration of the Independence of Lithuania.
They attended a solemn meeting in the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania, talked with government officials, deputies of the Seimas and NATO military personnel, and also attended the ceremony of raising state flags of the Baltic countries, which traditionally took place near the walls of the Lithuanian Parliament.

Ukrainian soldiers met with the vice-speaker of the Lithuanian Seimas, Paulus Saudargas.

The participants of the meeting, which was attended by the representative of the Anti-Imperial Block of Nations Oleg Vitvitskyi, discussed the situation with drones and ammunition at the front.

As a sign of respect and gratitude for Ukraine’s active support, the battalion commander, Lt. Col. Pavlo Kurylenko, presented the vice-speaker with the battle flag of his battalion.

On Wednesday, March 13, the Seimas of Lithuania will open a personal exhibition of front-line photos of the Lithuanian journalist Milda Matulaitite-Felhausen, who has close ties with 20 OBSP of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and has repeatedly visited front-line positions.

“Today from 18:00 we will be on Cathedral Square, near the monument, and from 18:30 the commander of my battalion will speak at the rally. Come say hello to the heroes,” M. Matulaitite-Felhausen wrote on her Facebook page.
