One of the important aspects of the struggle for independence of the nations enslaved by Russia was Prometheus – a political, cultural and intellectual movement. Who wanted to liberate the enslaved nations of the Soviet Union? Why was Poland the engine of the idea of Prometheus? Is the concept of Prometheus relevant now? How fragile is Russia? Can inter-ethnic problems destroy it? And what risks does the West see in the collapse of Russia? This was discussed by historian Vitaliy Lyaska and Valentyna Piskun, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, and Head of the department of the Institute of Ukrainian Archeography and Source Studies named after M.S. Hrushevsky National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
