Cooperation between Ukrainians and Oirat-Kalmyks has a serious perspective. Volodymyr Dovdanov, a representative of the Oirat-Kalmyk People’s Congress, stated this during a meeting as part of the “Captive Nations Week” in Kyiv.
“It is time to directly develop relations in the political, military and economic spheres. There is a short distance between Ukraine and Oirat-Kalmykia. Therefore, the foundation for future cooperation needs to be laid today, Dovdanov stressed. – For this, we are ready to start negotiations with both state and public structures in Ukraine.”
